We're in Dallas
Adam posted last night, but here's mine.
We're in Dallas. Yay! Micah was great on the plane, and we were on the same plane as NSD Kendra Crist-Cross (I cannot make that name up) who is one of my FAVORITE Nationals in the whole company. She did my training at Seminar 2 years ago right before I went into DIQ. Love Love LOVE. Anyway, when we got to the airport she was going around to all of the consultants offering a ride with her in her van/limo, but we were renting a car so I had to refuse. Still, great flight. I love Air Mary Kay. Haha. You can always find the MK consultants because they are the only women who fly in a suit on a Saturday.
We're at the Adolphus hotel, and it's either the last or second to last time we are going to be here because my NSD (Jeanne Curtis) is retiring. Not as swank a room as Ann and I had last time, but it's still very nice. Right now Adam is taking a bath and Micah is half naked in the bathroom leaning over the side of the bathtub and splashing in the water. Hey, whatever makes him happy. It's a beautiful hotel, with a spectacular bathroom so if it makes him happy to hang out in it, FINE as long as one of us is in there with him.
We went to a really nice Tex-Mex restaurant last night, and they were great with Micah. When we got there I noticed that all of the hispanic directors from my national area were there, and they highly endorsed it. Adam and I had the tuna ceviche and shared fajitas, and Micah had mac and cheese and some fajita chicken and a tortilla. Everything was yum yum.
Today is Day 0 of Seminar, which means we can do lots of stuff at the convention center but nothing official until our Area awards dinner tonight. I have to get out to the vendors too, to get a couple of things that I need. Janice and I are also planning to go to the MK Factory tour. Should be a blast.
Anyway, that's it. Micah is now crawling around the hotel room so I should make sure he doesn't get into anything!
