Bendicks Bittermints dupe

1 cup icing sugar
1 tablespoon milk
1/2 tablespoon vegetable oil
peppermint essence
peppermint essential oil
180g dark chocolate

Line a square baking tin with baking paper. Melt half the chocolate and spread across the base of the tin evenly. 
In a mixing bowl mix together the icing sugar, milk and oil. Add the peppermint oils - approx half a teaspoon, then drop by drop to taste. The peppermint essence you can find in the baking ingredients aisle of the supermarket, the peppermint oil from the essential oils section of a health food store. The essential oil is what gives it a kick. Knead until it becomes a smooth soft dough.

When the chocolate has set, microwave the icing mixture for 30s. Smooth it out as evenly as you can over the prepared chocolate. 
Melt the rest of the chocolate and smooth over the icing mixture. Allow to set.
Break into pieces, or cut into neat little squares and enjoy!
