Hermaia Propulaia
First things first, that oracle I got at the end of this ritual which I posted about a few days ago. Its been kicking around in my head for a little while now and, as these things often do, I find new ways to look at it, new connections to make. While I still can't officially rule out my first immediate impression, it may mean something far different. Either way, I think it does imply I may be in for some interesting times (great, just what I needed, huh :-))
I celebrated this on Halloween, and I had the day off which was probably a good thing; the work environment has been somewhat unpleasant lately to say the very least, and with the day to myself I could actually spend it in a good mood for once. I spent time wandering around the city just enjoying myself, running my various errands picking up hair dye and the things I would need for the ritual. Thankfully I managed to find some lamb on sale for very little money, necessary when you're not working that much. It left me able to afford a bottle of wine (as a side note, while at the liquor store I found a whole shelf of Fat Bastard wine, yes that was the name; I didn't buy it but I might have to some day soon, that's too funny to pass up).
I thought the ritual went fairly well considering, with having been sick two weeks ago and worrying over my aunt, I didn't do much planning as to what I was going to do. I don't think I've done a cathartic ritual before, they are powerful and at that moment for me it was definitely needed.
Just that strange oracle. Which I may go into more details with when I feel I have a better grip on what it all means. If I am going to talk about it this much, it would be rather cruel of me not to share, right? (but then again, I am cruel, so who knows? :-))
