Clarafication
After talking with Renee and reading everyone's replies, I realize I may have been a bit unclear about what it was that set me off.
The guy looked like a fucking gangbanger. And considering the neighborhood that I live in, that is more than likely what he was. I've lived here long enough now to know that most of the people here are just poor and not a danger to anyone, I've never had anything bad happen to me here so this isn't me jumping to conclusions. Its not as though I get those vibes from everyone I run into, and I've definitely learned over the years to trust my gut about such things. My gut told me this guy was dangerous, maybe not to me specifically but in a general way, yes.
It may well have meant absolutely nothing. I doubt he's going to actually start stalking me or anything. Its just that, combined with the vibes I was getting off him, it set me off a little bit.
