I didn't even notice the Obscura similarities in the beginning, I was too busy thinking it looked like a cross between an allergy medicine commercial and a douche commercial. Good catch.

-I loved the sister references. Like you said, it was so pointed. And I got such a kick out of hearing Chloe mention Ra in her Isis breakdown.

-As much as I hated the Clana sex, I think it was meant to be a lighthearted bone to the Clunkies as well as a sign that Lana is a seductress. In the beginning, Clark says there's been a lot of distance between them, hence the champagne and truffles. clearly sex was not on Clark's mind when Lana became Super, and even after the sex Clark goes back to thinking Lana has to go back to being normal.

-I didn't mind Clark wanting another way to change Lana back. Even if it's Lana, I understand him not wanting to electrocute his girlfriend. Plus, I think it's a good comparison to Lana, who *wanted* to electrocute Lex.

You're so right about the Pre-Wrath and Post-Wrath thing. What's telling is that even now that she knows everything, Lana's still not satisfied. Given some of the things she said, she needs to have all the power in order for things to be "equal" for her. I really resented the way Reckoning and Phantom portrayed Lana as being totally accepting of Clark's alien origins, so I was glad to see in Wrath that Lana actually feels varying levels of resentment and envy. It's a stark contrast to Chloe, who admires Clark for his powers and is proud of his heroic accomplishments. Lana's sense of pride wrt Clark's powers tends to center on how it involves her. She loves that he lied to protect her, but she hates that he won't abuse his powers for her.

There's probably so much more I want to say, but this is long enough. Oh, but I loved all of Chloe's outfits! Her clothes in Blue were hella cute too.

Okay, your caps reminded me of two more things: One, how *sad* Lana looked when she thought Lex cut off her spy feed. She wants Lex to want her to watch him.

Also, how Lana's face went from sad to...almost evil when Chloe walked away from her at the end of their Isis confrontation. I really hope this Chlana thing goes somewhere. In Blue, I noticed that Chloe completely brushed off Clark's remark about Lana's physical status to focus on how Clark was doing. Yay!

Clark is Ra. It's so pointed. It also makes sense out of Isobel.

Oh totally. And the temptress is not the role of the heroine.

GREAT Call Marta.

She loves that he lied to protect her, but she hates that he won't abuse his powers for her.

So. twisted.
