Random VA Question
For all of you who live/have lived in VA (though this might be an issue that is particular to NoVa...or maybe that's just the emission inspection?):
I know I have to get my car through safety and emission inspections before I can register it here in VA, but do any of you know if my car will pass the safety inspection with a small chip in the windshield? It's small enough that I can get it fixed (it's less than an inch wide all told) without replacing the whole windshield, but I've heard they're wicked particular about inspections in VA. And I don't want to pay for getting my inspection done and have them tell me, oh, you have to get that chip fixed and then come back and get it done again!
Any ideas?

(Also, I'm still sad about having to give up my awesome DC plates! *sobs*)
