Hmm, Uh-Oh
On Friday I was supposed to meet Alicia at Nardelli's in order to go over more math but mom had the car and she left too late. I felt bad cancelling on her but she understood. We're going to meet before Thursday b/c she has a test coming up. Also, Stargate SG-1 premiered. *happy dance*
Yesterday was awesome. Another Saturday out with peeps, *gasp*, and yeah my parents aren't too pleased about that. ^_^; Any-hoo back to yesterday. Around 1ish, Stephy came over and we walked across the bridge to see what was there. We looked at the "train station" and easily grew bored with that. The fun occurred when we went under the bridge b/c brilliance struck us at that moment.
Brilliance? How?
Well we thought that instead of wearing grippy shoes like sneakers and wearing long pants, we wore shorts and capris (respectively) and strappy sandals.
GORGAFLAX!
There's a river underneath the bridge, a lot of smooth loose rocks (those whores), and tons of plants and insects. We headed left where we ended up being ickified by the mud and the attacking plant life. There happened to be geese there too...needless to say I wasn't too pleased. We walked back to where we started after sinking into the ground and found that if we had turned right that we'd be drier. After being attacked by yellow butterflies of doom and sweating like heck we decided to wash up before Mel came. We traversed back to my place and headed to the gym since the bathroom is there. We cooled down and did more mindless banter. Stephy suggested that we buy some candy and smuggle it in so we headed to WalMart which was only an exit away. We scored with peanut butter cups and Lindt chocolate. She also bought duck tape with actual ducks on it. Beautiful. She also purchased coffee for me as well as buying herself a strawberry coolatta. I don't know how she was able to drink that stuff, so sweet. >_<
I got a call or two from Mel but everytime I said 'hello' I only heard myself. The third time I actually did hear her and she said that she was in the parking lot already. Good thing we were on our way. Stephy and I circled the back trying to find her green car but couldn't so I tried calling but ended up getting her voicemail. We headed toward the front thinking that she went there after waiting and after seeing that she wasn't there we returned to the back where we spotted Rob getting out of the car. We followed Mel to the Showcase Cinemas in Southington and made it just in time to watch previews. Before heading in, Mel showed me my birthday present that I'd get after the movie. *pouty* Also, that candy we bought at WalMart, I ended up stuffing into my bag b/c conveniently no one else had a large smuggling sack. :-P The Pirates of the Carribbean 2: Dead Man's Curse is coolio. I won't spoil it for anyone but I screamed 3x...yeah, sad but...yeah. When the movie ended I had to pee like a racehorse but Stephy said that there was something at the end of the credits so I rocked in my little theater chair and we played "read all the funny credit names" game. Rob and Mel were also surprised that she gave me coffee (they know me so well). *giggle* It added to my uniqueness. It was worth the wait. When we left the theater, Mel made me open my present in the parking lot. The stuff is great! Thanks again Mel!
We then headed to Dairy Queen for foodage. I'm the only one who had a full meal and Stephy and Rob vultured my fries, lol. Nah, I offered. Mel, Rob, and their sister Chrissie had some kind of ice cream while Stephy and I had sandwiches. Stephy also took out the cover of the outside outlet (we ate on the patio) and kicked it towards the next table. It was so funny to see the lady just stare at us. Rob attempted to put it back after a couple of tries. I think he did manage to place it back on. We took pics, since they weren't able to come to Stephy's house and this was the only time we could, and we followed Mel out of Southington, trying to head back to Stephy's place. lol, at one point this car cut in front of us and we lost Mel. I also made us more lost than needs be soon after. Again, sorry Stephy. ^_^; When we got to Stephy's house, we immediately prepared to meet Stephy's relatives that were visiting at her aunt's place. This part will make more sense in her LJ (lol, pressure on her). I spent about an hour hanging with her relatives. All I have to say is that I love the kitchen. *nods head* We left around 10:40ish with Devin and headed back to their place for ice cream and to look at pics. When it hit around 11:37ish, we headed back to my place. We did make a slight detour though, as in, we headed towards SHU, the opposite direction to where we're supposed to be heading, lol. Good times. We backtracked and headed back towards my place. We said our good-byes and good nights. I haven't ever been so happy to see the night crew since they were the ones that opened the door for me. My hand were full carrying all the coolio stuff that Mel bought me. Mom and Kuya were awake when I walked in but they were asleep when I got out of the shower. Oh, it was probably b/c it was 1 by then, lol.
Today just mass and grocery. I also uploaded yesterday's pics to FB. Go me.
My parents are being iffy about the double party again. Something about me going out too often...or something. ^_^;
Oh mom cut me bangs today b/c "I'm not spending $20 on this". They're better than when she did it the first time. Yeah, I'll let you think about that.
