grad school
effectively sealing the deal for my decision to go to graduate school instead of law school, the other night i got a $500 award for being an outstanding graduating senior in the political science program, 1) there are way too many people in law school 2) i've heard from several lawyers, spouses of lawyers, former lawyers, and law students just to run in the other direction, 3) not being one to just take someone else's advice on the matter, i don't want to practice law. so i'll probably put off ruining my grandparents' dreams for another year until i can tell them that i got into a decent school. next year i will be living in cali, yes i'm moving there, when you get down to it, for a boy. he's a marine, and he watches fox news, i'm dealing with it but my family is pretty conservative, i'm obviously not, they just hardly ever talk politics. my parents know and they both said it was a good idea, i didn't know it would be that easy, actually i think they just wanted an excuse to visit california.
