I had a wonderful weekend. The show ended with a blast and a great review in the
Chronicle. On Thursday the cast and crew celebrated Elizabeth's 23rd birthday with a surprise party at the theater. Well, every year we celebrate her birthday with a surprise party, and you would think she'd be on to us every year. Anyways, it was great. Free booze, food and the
Hot As Shits. They fucking rock! I said, "GODDAMN! GODDAMN! I love these punkettes." They should be having a CD release party soon and I'm gonna get an advanced copy and play it Wednesday on
Radio Rasquacho, so tune in.. My favorite song is "Pussy"...
Friday night the cast and crew went to support our favorite TV theme song and surf music band the
Greatest American Heroes. They play the last Friday of every month at the Carousel Lounge. These guys totally kick ass too. Somehow they always get me to dance to
"Welcome Back, Kotter" and I feel no shame when I do it. It was a rollicking good time. We showed up at the Carousel Lounge like a storm...
Saturday was the first rehearsal for Head, Hands and Toe 2. The cast is complete and all we need to do is develop the pieces. We have to do things quickly because we open on the 16th. The show is going to be so much fun to do. No lines, just movement and music. Rob Williams of the
Flaming Idiots is developing a piece so that should be awesome. My friend Eve and I are teaming up to for an original Adam & Eve creation. I can't wait to see what we all come up with. After rehearsal David, Elizabeth, Laura and I ate at Mother's Cafe & Garden. Mmmm, it was so good, and it's all vegetarian. I got a burrito and I never missed the meat. The final show of the Three Cuckolds was fantastic. A full house full of smiles. OK, that was dumb...
I slept in today and I feel well rested and terri-fantastic. I'm making eggs and shit and my dad comes in the house to tell me that my grandma made some menudo. Oh, my Jeebus! I don't mean to brag but she makes the best menudo, and she makes two cauldrons like once a year that last for days. Definitely worth the wait. I'm still having food-gasms. I totally fixed one of my bikes today. I am so excited. I feel like a giddy, horny nun who wants to ride the bike without the seat cushion. I have my wheels back...
...happy birfday to Jack Black, who turns 36 today. ALL HAIL THE D!!!!
