Fox has given the green light to Virtuality, a two-hour backdoor SF pilot from the mastermind behind SCI FI Channel's Battlestar Galactica, Ronald D. Moore, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
(read the rest here) Virtuality sounds freakishly amazing. it's almost like Harlan Ellison's Starlost -- with which I became quite obsessed with for a while...not to long ago; the concept for which was brilliant and I secretly wished the Eick/Moore team would grab it for reimagining;) -- but very different too.
this one stands a chance of being a much bigger hit than SciFi's Caprica, mostly bc it'd be on FOX - which could also mean it might go the way of Firefly...
