I recently caved in and watched Bionic Woman. I skipped the Pilot, retooled or not I was too disappointed the first time to give that ep another go, and went straight to Episode Two - which featured [SPOILER ALERT!] the funeral of the most engaging character from the Pilot; huh?! anyways onto the next episodes. Katee Sackhoff rocks the show! her

Excuse me but no one blames Michelle Ryan for the failure of Bionic Woman, the writing is getting most of the blame and the constant in fighting with the producers with the direction. Michelle is actually a pretty good actress if you have seen some of her other work but she had nothing to work with on Bionic Woman and Katee Sackhoff, had the better written role said it herself. If the roles were reversed, Katee would have the same issues Michelle had with the role and would have come across just as bad in it as well.

didn't want to offend anyone with my rant. I actually only now visited a couple of Michelle Ryan fansites to see what she's about. and though I'd mostly blame the writing and the art department, she just wasn't fit for the role. sure her physicality came across as believable, but the facial expressions? not so much. though, that too can be mostly attributed to poor material, but not all of it. she just wasn't relatable for me - at all! also the best she looked in the entire series was on that photo in the Anthros file with her hair pulled back, I wish they didn't make her hair look so wig-like with all the straightening and use of product.
