over the past few weeks I've been catching up on my movie stubs collection... I missed a couple of premieres due to my final finals...all that's left now is complete and defend my Master's Thesis and my scholarly adventure will come to a desired end.
unfortunately Sunshine and The Last King Of Scotland were the ones I no longer had the chance to see at the movie theaters but the rest I caught with full movie goer experience.
Premonitionsurprisingly poignant. engaging.
Pathfinderhighly exciting; even if tad predictable. entertaining.
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's Endinfuriatingly shallow & convoluted plot. silly & unfunny.
Ocean's 13felt abridged. light humored. enjoyed this one; simple unabsorbing pleasure.
Sunshineintense. gripping. old school sci-fi in the style of Alien and A Space Odyssey.
The Last King Of Scotlandchilling. provoking. will have your heart in your mouth. though the story itself was a little bit naive.
loved Gillian Anderson in it. though I love her in everything really. still, wholly enjoyed her performance. it was quite different from anything she'd done before and that is a no small accomplishment. and of course James McAvoy is an interesting lead. I only recently enjoyed him in BBC's
Macbeth and am anxiously looking forward to seeing him in
Becoming Jane.
