stargate sg1 morpheus & flesh and blood

OMG! this quote kept me laughing throughout the entire next scene! while the 1st episode was sort of a let down, now this one is SG-1 returned! I'm still not sold on the Ori, which is really sad and annoying in more than one way. I remember, how I had been so quickly overwhelmed by the Goauld plot; that the confusion and the overall feeling of 'what the heck is going on' kept me on returning. however the Ori plot, esp the Priors keep on getting tiresome by the minute.

as you may see, I'm a bit behind on the episodes, which have been lying on my hard-drive for a while, but the 200th ep is too much for me to have lying about unwatched, so I need to catch up!

damn them for killing Dr. Reimer! I hopefully imagined he was going to become our new residing doctor, since dr Lam is a no-show on this season's promo photos; I thought it fair to presume, Lexa Doig left the show or was let go for creative reasons or whatever. she never really rendered any kind of presence. but damn them for killing random characters introduced only for this ep, one by one, how stupid is that!? when Reimer collapsed I felt the same kind of loss and disappointment for an underused character as when that guy locked the rear compartment from the outside in Atlantis' Grace Under Pressure.

oooh! the creature (chameleon?) looks awesome! is that amazing CGI or a real animal somehow made to look into the light (and walk funny)? I know I sound a bit dumb right now:)

eeeh. just when I was getting impressed by the tremendous shift in predictable events to the point that a thought passed my mind that they're all gonna die(!) and Vala will find a way to resurrect them (...) i.e. be the only person on the base for, for searching for a sarcophagus or sending a plight to her daughter for help in exchange for returning or sth; but no, they pull of this 'well, it's the next day and everything is alright' shit. *mad* and again I'm left with the feeling of disappointment.

after the the first ep I didn't even have the urge to write a review, so that at least is a positive sign. but to say a good word about the first ep, it might have been that I was spoiled to much. I'm a spoiler whore I'll admit it. and it probably cost me some of the fun of that ep. or a lot. gotta stay spoiler free. gotta stay spoiler free. all things considered though, I was impressed with the scene of Carter being brought on board Odyssey.
