Chinchilla with tuberculosis
One of my chinnies, Dexter, has been diagnosed with tuberculosis. =(
Any of you have any experience with this?
The vet thinks he probably caught it from a rat I had last year that died from myco, but only just now started to show symptoms.
Apparently there is no cure, only treatment to give him a good life. Now he will have to be a forever alone chin so it doesn't spread to the others. I'm afraid he'll become depressed because he has never been alone. =(
Also, all of this has been really taxing on my wallet, specially being unemployed, so I'm trying to make some money selling some of my cross stich, including the Chins one. If you could visit my etsy store and see if anything interests you, I and Dexter would be really greatful.
