Reeves Watercolor
For my birthday, I was given a children's book. To illustrate. After DAYS of sketching and attempting to plan for this 26-pager, I have begun my project. I made the decision to use a multi-medium approach: watercolor, acryclic, collage, and stitching. Using this method, I will be layering many of the scenes I illustrate. Tonight's work is devoted to backgrounds.
The story itself? It involves God's battle against the partying types on Mount Olympus. He must call on the Dinnow's, a royal T-Rex family. Things aren't so good between God and the Dinnow's, seeing as He proposed their extinction at an earth planning summit. You just wait; I smell a best-seller.
