(no subject)
I know I owe the DC update on here....it's sitting half done here on my PC...but work has been busy this week. Yesterday was Quarter End so I put in a bit of overtime...this coming week hopefully will be easier, but the stock market being closed on Friday sometimes throws a wrench into our programs. However, we do have our annual softball game on good Friday bc we don't really do too much work that day ever and our bosses buy us pizza for lunch following the game. Our captain has had us outside at lunch throwing the ball around and hitting some batting practice (aka "spring training" as he jokes) to ensure we continue our winning streak versus our rival department. My arm is sore this morning. I haven't used the softball skills since high school..but it's good to know I can still hit pretty well and field the ball. This is the first year I've played....since my first year we got rained out and last year I was sick. We're all going to the batting cage near work on Tuesday night (and knowing my coworkers, that means happy hour/dinner after that...) Just doing stuff around here today...and then going to the city tomorrow.
