As far as I am concerned, there seems to be no great divide as you are claiming. We do have factions in the school, but, man, they/we do not conspire together (with intergalactic forces, too) to excommunicate or bring down your group. And as implied by the letter, one is part of either of the "groups" -- your group and those anti-your group--(instituted by that goddamn divide). And I just wonder where I belong. While it is true that I do not generally like your group (but this is not to say I loathe you individually) because of the rumors on your alleged academic impropriety (and because of that particular exam-incident two years ago), I must say that I do not conspire with others to wish you ill. It is natural for groups or people to share sentiments on the issue, but that does not prove any great divide either.
And if there really is such thing (which I again deny), I think I am categorized by you in the against group. That we accuse you for committing that act of academic impropriety because we are one heap of inggiteros and inggeteras is maliciously baseless. Actually, it is too ridiculous to be sent to high officials of the academe. Strawman arguments. Appeal to emotions... You (in behalf of the group) could have just said that gossips are being exchanged within the against group and that these are almost always baseless or mere second (third fourth, etc) hand stories. Period.
Hah, and to think that I take pride every time some of my friends from the lower batches say "buti pa ang batch nyo, hindi divided." I do not say that it's improper, but because of this defensiveness (nah, I don't think it's insecurity) and your appeal-to-emotions-mode, the school (that is a center for excellence in Asia for Pete's sake) is suddenly placed on the chopping block.

Everything seems to be out of proportion now. Thanks to the pivot that is the gawad. I told myself then that it was better for the issue to be forgotten. Let them royally leave the school as they entered it. And let them royally rot in hell and/or be royally bothered by their consciences, if they still have one, in the future (that is, if they did do that act). It would be rational a preference since engaging in expensive and power-enclaved procedures (legal) will be a motherload of pain in the neck for the against-group (representatives). Pero sabi nga nila, umabot na sa ganito. Hindi na pwedeng umurong.

and to the one who post in the academic forums that this group is being pulled down by inggiteros from the poor families... jay2z, tanga ka. Alalahanin mong sa online community na yun, bawal ang tanga.
