Forgot about this

Jamie asked me what the first eight things I would spend my money on would be (god that's awkwardly worded) if I won the 42.5 million dollar lottery and I think I have it figured out.

1)pay back student loans and pay for the rest of my college education
2)pay back my dad and get something really cool for Forbeses like some majorly awesome vacation. And I would load up Jimbo's 401k so that he could retire and never have to go to work again.
3)I'd pretty much check in with everyone I care about and make sure they have enough money to be happy and to have it not be something they worry about and if they needed anything, I would give it to them. And this is an important step because if the people around me aren't happy then what's the point in me being happy?
4)clothes. I would buy many, many items of clothing from real stores because I haven't gotten anything new in a long time. And you know, blue jeans really do wear out.
5)make sure my grandma has enough money to be really, really comfortable
6)take everyone I care about on a fun vacation
7)try to find as many arts programs in public schools as possible so that music and art isn't lost forever
8)after making sure that I can live comfortably (not lavishly), I'd put some in an emergency fund of some sort and send the rest out to whoever needs it. Disease research, women's shelters and welfare programs, animal rights groups, awesome underground and tightly budgeted independent newspapers and magazines, etcetera.

I think I'd still want to work, but eh...not more than 30 or so hours a week.

Oh yea, downer about Eric's news; he said getting creative writing professor jobs is extremely competitive.

That is all. I really hope everyone is enjoying this blueness above us and the huge ball of light that is making us want to go outside. Where did our usual canopy of greyness go anyway?
