Hooray!
Only 15 short days until I'm the big 2-3. How thrilling!!!!
I love student teaching!! I was super nervous about it before I started, I definitely didn't think I was ready. But now that I'm teaching full time and I have everything under control and my kids are getting super good grades on all of their tests, I feel so fulfilled!! I'm glad that I stuck with my major through transferring and not getting into the program right away. This is what I really want to do and it is swell. Next week is our field trip, and although the group that I am taking through the Shedd is NOT my ideal group........... I'll get over it I guess. Hopefully my teacher will let me have just a little input into my group. I just want my favorite kid!!!!
This weekend I'm going out with Nicole and company to the Chi. I am really excited! I haven't had lots to drink in a while, and I haven't danced in a LONG TIME and that is unacceptable! One of the best parts about this is that I told Matt that I was going, and he said, "That's awesome! It sounds like you'll have a lot of fun." And that, my friends, is the response that I should have received for the past 6 years or so. I'm so happy with Matt - I feel very lucky that we coincidentally ran into each other and hit it off so well. Yay!
My love for Adam Lambert continues to blossom. GOD I love him!
