Nabbed a job after a very short time on the dole. It's great and all, but sad because it's been darned fun to have so much writing time! At least I have another week before it all starts up.
I am supremely grateful to be employed again, by the way. I know how hard it is out there. I'd planned ahead and things just worked out for me.
In unrelated news, I'm taping Otalia today and running errands during the live show so I can inhale in one dose direct from the DVR. Goody! Also, really solid DWP fic went up on the list last night: Miriam Princheck. Totally unique take, without the softness and syrup that I can't seem to resist adding to my depiction of Miranda. Just a really appealing deal. Check it out. I'd like to think it might inspire me to get back to my other story, an AU that's been languishing for a few weeks. I won't drop it, but life's been hectic and Otalia one-shots don't require a long-term committment. Crossing fingers!
