Halo
It's going to be made as a film... no, wait, they decided not to... but it's now on again... Weta are involved... ooh, burn, it's been cancelled... or has it?
I couldn't care less.
Computer games rock. Blasting your way through worlds that offer escapist fun with a reckless regard for moral arguements on whether a clown should be shot 75 times in the face is really fun.
But storywise? I don't buy it. Usually I skip through them to the shooting, and most the time I prefer multiplayer blasting.
So Halo as a film really doesn't appeal to me. Besides, Super Mario Bros is an anti-classic slice of nostalgic awesomeness, and I shudder to think what the Halo fanboys would do if they made Master Chief a chick.
Probably go do an online petition. (Note - I signed one to save Angel, so I'm also being a complete prick to myself.)
