Well, just got home from the second Rapids home game at Dick's Sporting Goods Park, and I never posted about the first game here. Eurosnobbery is one thing, but get it right! Just because he's French doesn't mean his name can't have a 'y' in it. It deflates your entire thesis if you get something that glaringly wrong...after all, it's not like he's ridiculously famous or anything.

Watched this game in beautiful HD in a nice warm dry living room, and gleefully cheered on the Rapids for it (enemy of my enemy and all). I've gotta get out there sometime--too bad the Revs game there is just the wrong time of year for me to make the trip.

One of my friends predicted a DC win for this one, and I said no, Colorado's going to play this like it's 4th of July, and they don't lose the 4th of July game.

Watched last night's game, too--bummer you guys couldn't hold the lead. When Fat Zach was on the sidelines warming up it took me a minute to realize it wasn't for Chicago.
