Unforgettable words

There are things people have said to me only once that I will never be able to forget. I think the oldest thing on this list dates back to 1980. Most of these are pieces of advice or observations on life that friends of mine have made. It is a very incomplete list by the way. Some of the most influential people on my life aren’t on this list, and some of the best advice people have given me has just become a way of life for me, not something I can quote verbatim. There’s a story behind every one of these, but I won’t bore you by telling them all. I will, however, tell a story about any of them upon request.
