Two hip things that get hipper together...
I have been working mostly all day and I will not sleep again until this fucker has been submitted.
I got to go back out to the Rapids new stadium today for a little tour thing. It was both less and more formal than the topping out ceremony was. Less formal in that there were only about 6 of us invited; more formal in that we all had to wear hard-soled shoes, safety vests, safety glasses, and hard hats. I'll post pictures and comments later this weekend.
I found out tonight that I don't have to wait anothe year to apply for the Fulbright teacher exchange I'm interested in. I just have to be in my third year of full-time teaching, not finished with it, to apply. I am super-duper happy about that. Talking to a colleague today who still has a lot of wanderlust left in him, and I realize that I do too. I think a stint in Morocco would be fabulous! More research to do, talk to my principal, etc., but I am almost certain I'm going to apply. YAY!!!
