It was so sad, but really so sweet. I was wincing at how you described the pain. You did an amazing job describing that. I loved how you took it all step by step and didn't have them really rush into it all. I felt so incredibly bad for both of them when Seb was in pain. It made the story feel real. And painful. Ohsopainful. And sad.
I adored how Sebastien wanted David to make him his. And when he did, "You have me. My heart. I'm yours now." Just beautiful. And how at the end, they knew just what each other meant.
The "Checklist" part was fantastic, too. It was a great way to get the audience clued in to what was happening. I also loved how David accidentally spilled out, "I hate you." It didn't sound like he didn't mean to say it though. He just repeated himself again.
I thought that it was Sebastien's point of view when I had started reading the first chapter. Only when I hit the part about Seb's blue eyes did I realize it was David's POV. I was a bit surprised because it wasn't a stereotype really, which is a good thing. I really liked David being the one in pain over Sebastien. You made it fit very well.
Wish I could give a better review, but I'm all mush now. I loved everything about the story. I wish I had the sense to use a thesaurus because I noticed I said, "love", "adore", and "really" a lot in my comment, but you're lucky I could even get that out.
Oh, and

My old disclaimer was getting. well. old, so I changed it to something that my sense of sarcasm often makes me "say" and that came out.
