No children apparently means heartless bitch...?
I just joined this community, so I thought I'd say hi!
I've always known I'd never have children- they've never interested me. Why is that when I mention this, people are surprised, and then ask if I don't like kids?! Does not wanting kids immediately mean that I don't like kids?
Apparently, yes.
Leaving behind the point that I actually don't like kids, why is this immediately what everyone seems to turn to? Also, why is it assumed that all women want children?
It's like some universal plan we all must follow: Find a man, get married, and then start making babies?
Hell no. I want to live my life for me, not for some kid. Yeah, it's sounds selfish, but it's the way that I am.
