Actually, by definition you can't. If you are not monogamous (or virginal), you are promiscuous. period. If you go by the facts. My point is that promiscuous is an objective description, not a judgment. "Slut" is a subjective negative judgment. It is a hate word. People need to use the right word. Promiscuous is not a bad word. And we shouldn't treat it that way. (In my opinion promiscuity is bad when it involves dishonesty and betrayal.)
