Today we went to a local shop to buy a door.
Last week we were going to do this but a) we were late and b) they shut early and so we didn't buy one. Today we both had a day off so decided it was a good opportunity to remedy this, and then fit the door on Sunday.
It transpires that being late last week made no difference, as the damn shop has stopped selling damn doors as the damn wholesaler only sells to damn big soullless shops in big batches. Damn.
