So today I went out with my mum. I was driving and we went to a small shopping mall. I parked near the entrance and was taking off my seatbelt when I noticed a man carrying a spray can leaning against the car next to mine, ie right next to my side of the car. I nudged my mum and we both agreed to stay in the car a little while longer and wait for him to move on before getting down because seriously, with all the horror stories about carpark mugging/ car-napping/ kidnapping/ tyre-slashing, neither of us wanted to get out of the car with a suspicious looking loiterer nearby.
Then that man actually came over and started spraying my side mirror with god knows what щ(ಥДಥщ) щ(ಥДಥщ) щ(ಥДಥщ) I tried waving him off and shouting "No, I don't want that!" I have no idea if he's selling the spray thing or selling his cleaning services or fucking spraying my car with something dubious, whatever it is, I do not want it. He either didn't hear me or was ignoring me so my mum pressed the horn a few times to get his attention (and the attention of anyone standing nearby).
We got his attention, yes, and he started cursing us щ(ಥДಥщ) He was gesturing wildly and shouting that if we didn't want it we should have said so politely. Then he walked over to my mum's side of the car and continued shouting. My mum's door was unlocked because we had just dropped something off and she forgot to lock it again and that fucker actually opened the door. My mum slammed it shut again and locked it. The man continued shouting at us and even put his hand against his neck, mimed slitting his own throat and pointed at us.
If we didn't have stuff we had to do there I would have reversed the car there and then and never go back there again щ(ಥДಥщ) I was really terrified. He left after a few minutes, and my mum and I got out of the car. Then we saw him approaching us again but this time there was another man also holding that same spray can (probably a colleague) cautioning him. He said again that if we didn't want whatever he was selling we should have said so politely and that he was just trying to earn money. My mum told him that all we did was wave him off and say that we don't want the thing he's selling. And then he said we shouldn't say that. Why? Because we're females щ(ಥДಥщ) щ(ಥДಥщ) щ(ಥДಥщ) щ(ಥДಥщ) щ(ಥДಥщ)
He seemed calmer with his colleagues around so we left and despite our misgivings, the car was left unscratched. I wouldn't be surprised if we came out an hour later to see extra scratches or a flat tyre on the car.
щ(ಥДಥщ) щ(ಥДಥщ) щ(ಥДಥщ) This is why I hate driving here.
And if you're going to charge RM4 for one hour of parking you can at least make sure your security guards check out what's wrong when someone starts honking madly in the middle of the car park
