Stupid 'tard neighbours!!!
Last Friday our dear sweet little old lady neighbour, Joan, moved out of her house, and in moved some 'tards!!! She sold her house, and said that the parent's of one of the girls who would be living there, bought it for her and her friends to live in... so I figured there might be a bit of noise... but never this much!!
Its been 9 days now, and almost every night there has been loud music on til all hours... and tonight there is, of course, a party!! on Thursday night the boom boom boom of the bass (sitting in my bed, across the street, inside my flaming house!!) gave me such a headache I had to take something for it... tonight they've got the bad music, and screaming girls and yelling guys - with plenty of swearing to throw into the mix!!
So.. just before 11pm, I called noise control, which scared the crap outta me, as they asked for my name, address and phone number... and right after I hung up.... the noise all but stopped... unfortunately soon after it started up again. I haven't heard anyone (or seen anyone - I've been peeking thru the curtains) but I'm guessing either no one has been sent out, or if they have, it was in that quiet period. I was sitting here dreading a knock on the door from them for wasting their time!
The people directly across the road from us, and directly beside this house have 3 kids, one is only 7 months old, so I can only guess how they are feeling right now!!
Chris has just gotten home from work, and he said that it looks like it might be winding down. but so far it doesn't sound like it is.
I think I might call noise control agian - meh - I can't sleep with all the racket!! I'm just pleased the kids haven't woken up just yet!! Fingers crossed they don't!! Also soo tempted to go and beat them all with a big stick!!!
