Yesterday and today, I have been wondering, perhaps I really was pregnant, and had another very early loss? I mean, its a possibility. I was totally convinced I was pregnant, and even had my little pregnancy anomolie of a little black spot that I can see occaionally out of my right eye, that has so far only ever happened when I'm pregnant.

Honestly I've never used disposables, but aside from the initial outlay, and the very occasional bottle of teatree oil and big bottle of white vinegar every so often, thats all the ongoing cost you have. (you don't soak them in a bucket of water, just empty out the absorbant inners into a dry bucket - when baby is little you might need to rinse off the poo, but thats no biggie, then when you have enough to wash/need to wash, just throw them in the washing machine - I use a heavy duty cycle, and put about 1/4-1/2 a cup of whitevinegar in the fabric softner cup, with about 4-6 drops of teatree oil added to that, and let it do its thing! Then if you can, dry them outside in the sun - that will give them the extra sanitise with the UV rays, the stuff them and they're ready to go for the next use!
I actually found some recently that I recommend more than the fuzzis tho, and you can buy them at baby city (the one on the one way) - called Baby Cheeks - they are one size fits all and have about 6 colours to choose from. Trade me is a good place to get nappies from too. It will probably cost around $500 to get yourself a stash of about 12, that would initially mean washing every day probably, but you'll probably be washing that often anyway with a new baby and 3 others too!
Gotta go get mine off to bed now - but if you want to ask anything else, feel free :) you can also look at www.thenappynetwork.org.nz (hope thats right!) they have coffee mornings that you can go along to and check out different styles of cloth nappies
