Chinese New Year Spring Cleaning...

Feb 07, 2010 00:36

I really should have started on the spring cleaning today, since next sunday is Chinese New Year already, but what with being comatose with medication till noon, and then helping my mom clean the windows (which includes standing on stools, and sometimes reaching out to wipe the outside of the windows clinging to rails ten storeys off the ground) I got so exhausted and woozy from medication I fell asleep again till it was time for my family's reunion dinner.

Incidentally my sis might be delivering anytime now from today till the 11th. Ms Khoo Hui Ning, my first baby niece, is coming soon! Can't wait! Her nickname is already Peach (or Xiao Tao, chinese version).

But back to spring cleaning. Still need to clean the under-bed storage basket full of bags (half of which haven't been used for a year or so and ought to be donated to Salvation Army), a cursory glance at my wardrobe (since I've been steadily cleaning it out for a month now), a good OVERHAUL of my cosplay wardrobe and my sewing wardrobe (which has the bulk of my stuff now), and then I'd need to iron the bunch of clothes piling up... and if I have time, sew those pillow-covers my mom has been bugging me for the past few weeks.

All that for tomorrow. O_O.

Meanwhile, sickness took a turn for the worse on friday, went to the new doctor who pronounced me slightly feverish and gave me very strong cough medicine (it says eat only at night, that's how bad it is) and sent me home with an MC. Slept almost the whole day away on friday, continued to cough a bit today, but mostly the medicine is knocking me out most effectively.

Also explains why the english in this post is a bit off. Haha.
