I really enjoy reading the posts in this community every morning. I have really learned alot about caring for chihuahuas, things to look for and I also love seeing the super cute pics. I have been a little disturbed by some of the bickering that seems to go on lately.

I pretty much agree with you on this.

I wonder if anyone else feels the way I do, in that when I'm a member of a community and it's all happy sappy lovey dovey and nobody ever has an ounce of conflict, it makes me want to slit my wrists.

I think people enjoy the more utopian community, where everyone agrees and everyone says things in the most gentlest of ways because we dont want to *hurt* anyone's feelings. And I think part of that is okay (The wanting to be thoughtful of people's feelings) - but I find with the rest, we end up getting caught in the overly pc, wishy washy stuff that is fake.

Life doesnt work like that. Its made up of peace and conflict and I think we perch on the balance in between the two and swing to each side from time to time.

I think for the most part we *are* a good community here. Things are going to happen...

Oh I freaking love this community! I love the fact that people say things in no uncertain terms. I love that people aren't affraid to give you "the hard truths". I love that we have conflict and discource. I've been a member of communities where if you say ANYTHING negative you're in trouble. Tell someone not to BYB? BANNED! Shit like that, and it's fucking stupid. I like to look at pictures of people's dogs and say how cute they are, but when it's just that, it makes me want to vom.

I agree that it doesn't really take away from the community...people do move on, and if they can't...well, then that is their problem and they are few and far between. I think it is posts like this that hurt the community more than anything.

I forgot about our conversation this afternoon until I saw you and your boyfriend both complain about it. Move on already, it wasn't a big deal.
