A Real Update? OMG!!1!
poorheather is in New York and I won't see her again until Saturday. At the earliest. I'd say how much I miss her, but when she gets back, she'll read this and mock me for being emo, and really, that's no fun. She can be mean. (I'm sorry, hon. I love you, but it's true.)
I started my new job today. It was not that difficult. I wasn't expecting anything too hard, but man, it was really simple. How simple, you ask? It was my first day. I went in this morning with zero training and I still finished over an hour early. That's how bloody simple it was. The only downside is I have to go back in, oh about five and a half hours. And that I can't go to Kegs & Eggs tomorrow morning.
I really should be in bed right now, but, like I said before, poorheather's gone and it's a little weird sleeping alone again.
She has my ring. I keep touching my finger to spin it (as I do when I'm nervous/bored/anxious/twitchy/angry/whenever) and realizing it's not there.
I've got a ton of Massive Attack playing right now. It's strangely soothing.
I'm off to do something that's not LiveJournal or even computer-related. Maybe even sleeping.
