It figures.
I've been looking for a second (or a new job with better pay) for a while now. I've turned in a dozen applications, even at Home Depot. Nothing. The Westport branch of the Church of Scientology was hiring and I looked into that.
I was getting pretty desperate.
I'd pretty much resigned myself to the fact that the economy was in the toilet and I should just work as much overtime at Arrow Speed as I could.
Then, in a meeting yesterday, I was told there will be only a minimum amount of overtime offered each week. Overtime I cannot take advantage of because of my schedule.
And you know what happens? I got a call for a phone interview with Verizon, my mom told me Curt wants to hire me on at Garmin and 2012ad's boss was apparently very impressed with my resume.
Great. So, which job am I supposed to choose now?
