Sawnic Twee n' Knahcles
Around the 30th or so (or possibly New Year's Day), I will be streaming a complete playthrough of Sonic 3 & Knuckles. cammi will be coming over to my place around the 29th and will be bringing her streaming equipment along for the ride.
I'll repeat this announcement again once the time nears with a definite date.
S3&K is a game I've played constantly since childhood and I've pretty much got it on automatic as far as playing through the game, but I'll make sure I'll do these things during it:
*Complete start to finish playthrough using Tails only, my usual character for playthroughs. That means 13 total zones to run through.
*This will be played using Sonic Mega Collection, a Gamecube compliation, played on the Nintendo Wii.
*I'll probably take a short 'intermission' between Launch Base Zone (Zone 6) and Mushroom Hill Zone (Zone 7).
*I intend this to be a casual run, not a speedrun or anything record breaking (I can't do that anyway X^D). Mistakes will be made, etc. but I'll try not to be too sloppy.
*I will not use any bonus stages (from lampposts) unless I absolutely need a shield or to stop Super Tails transformation time to save rings for points.
*Getting all seven Chaos Emeralds and all seven Super Emeralds, perfects for each of these, and of course getting 50 rings in them all which should result in 14 continues.
*I'll try to push for at least 1 million points. Some practice playthroughs had me go as high as 1.2 million!
*I'll also guarantee at least 60 lives, although it's possible I can go as high as 70. Oh and I won't intend on losing any of them.
I'll also try and highlight some weird tricks or things you can do along the way :^D
The stream will only stream direct game audio so you won't be hearing me throughout. Cammi will be in the chat on her channel to provide commentary :^D Questions or whatnot can be asked at any time between now and then.
