"Once more, unfortunately, there have been issues with Comic-Con registration. So we have, again decided to close it down.
We are well aware that many people have taken time from work, school or other activities and others woke up very early. There really is no way to convey our level regret for this turn of events.
We are currently researching our registration options. "
Only a handful of tickets were actually processed, so they are certainly not sold out still. I actually got a dud 'registration complete' page but with no actual order information, no confirmation e-mail and (thankfully) no credit card billing.
Sorry for bombarding Twitter feeds X^D I was really angry having to wake up early and see another fail yet again.
EDIT:
My e-mail was not a dud, my credit card was billed and I got an actual registration ticket. I must have been one of the few people to actually get a ticket through the system. My e-mail was missing a barcode but I checked it out with EPIC customer service (amazingly quick I might add) and they resent the confirmation to me.
I feel somewhat guilty now that I BSed myself a ticket...
