Christmas is pretty much over and done with here. On one hand, I love giving presents. I love watching people open a present and like what we’ve given them.

On the other hand, I hate having to buy stuff, or make stuff for people and have it be a crap shoot whether or not it will be something that actually like.

Christmas was uneventful, just like I prefer it to be. We went to my aunt’s house for Christmas Eve - the first Christmas Eve get together I’ve been to in a while - where we ate some fish and talked about our trip to Vegas. I decided that if I'm going to run in Las Vegas next year, I need to run more and for longer distances. I mean, I can't very well run 3.5 miles every other day or so for the next year and expect to show up in Vegas in December and be able to run 13.1 miles in under 4 hours ( Read more... )

Turkey day was good, as always. I slept late and spent the entire day in jammies, which was quite awesome and something I'd never done before. Eddie had to work the night before and didn't get in until about 3am, so I got to keep the bed to myself with both cats for half the night. • slept until about 10am
• worked 2-6pm
• cleaned up the chaos at work because the morning tech can't multitask. She can't really even single-task.
• ate fish sticks and French fries for dinner
