Between work and Patrick's social life, and the presidential election, I find it hard to catch up on my tv. Good God, when is it finally going to slow down? I still haven't seen an episode of Supernatural this season.
I went to watch parties for the presidential debates (except the last one), fundraisers for some democratic canditate or another, and President Clinton came to Dallas one day to endorse the democratic candidate for State Senate, Rick Noriega, (which, btw, was freaking awesome from start to finish). Then Patrick has all his stuff going on what with soccer games (they're getting their asses kicked at a regular basis) and another TKD tournament (he placed 3rd in Weapons, 3rd in Forms, and 2nd in Sparring - my baby!!). Needless to say, I am wiped. Whew.

But I'm still alive, and I'm still reading the flist, I just don't have the strenght to make regular posts.

Aw, my baby! You know, to be honest, I never would have thought my son would be that cordinated and talented, but I have to admit, he really doesn't stink at Taekwondo.

I had okay seats at the rally (if you take into considerations that a good half of the people that showed up couldn't even be in the auditorium - they had to listen to it in the courtyard of the school). The event was so awesome. Lupe Valdez (current sherrif, running for re-election) got more than one standing ovation/chanting of her name. She's the coolest woman ever. Clinton showed up not too late, and they had good people who acted as fillers until he did show up. Highlight of the evening? I got manhandled by Secret Service. They were all so fucking handsome. I didn't mind. Also? Supporters of the guy Noriega is running against were outside the school, waving signs and shouting things. Dude, what a waste of time. 100 % of the people showing up had already made their minds up. Please. It was fun to watch, though.
