I'M IN UR STORE, STOCKING UR TAMPONS

So here’s a bit o’ news for ya: I started a new job about a month ago. The old one kind of started to suck a bit here and there, so I opted for a change. Still the same business, but, you know, advancement in career and all that great stuff. It’s fun so far. I’m in training, still, but will get my very own department in July. I’m learning a lot of new stuff, and are taking on way more responsibility than ever (OMG SCARED), but I know that I can handle it. The system they got going is pretty sweet, and pretty much fool proof if you keep up with the daily business.

So, if you remember from three months ago, when I was still at my old job and they had messed with my bonus there? Yeah, I got that bonus a month later. And a week after that I got a letter saying that they over-paid me and that they want their money back. Sure, I said, as soon as I can afford it. Which, you know, with a new job starting, and being unemployed for about two months, it’s not really a priority to make you guys happy. To which they said that, yes, we want money, and we wants it by the end of the year, precious. To which I said, meh? And they said, WE GOT LAWYERS. They say that they want it by the end of the year because of taxes. And I'm thinking, seriously? Because, really, if I could only pay back half of the amount, wouldn't they just have to adjust the taxes half way? But I guess because I don't receive a pay check from them anymore, there's no way for them to balance it out on something for taxes the year after that. But then again, by all rights, I should still get a partial bonus check from this year, since I was still working there for 3 months. Not that I'm holding my breath.
