Oh my god. I skipped an ENTIRE month!
Yeah, I’ve never done that before. I think it’s safe to say that my entire LJ is slowly dying...
But anyway, on to some news… not that there is much to tell…
Novel. Well, I have a huge case of ‘Writers Block’. I know what I want to write, but I can’t seem to find the words… Everything I write, I end up scrapping. I think I need to take another break. I need to start reading again, actually. When I was reading all the time, I was having great success with my writing.
I’ve also had another idea. Not vamps this time. It’s, I guess you can say… Urban Fantasy. It’s just ideas floating around at the moment. I want to make it a Trilogy, and at the moment I have enough for two out of thee books. Having another idea, doesn’t mean that I’m going to scrap the Mortal Series. I’ve had Casey & Lucas’s story in my head for a number of years now, so I want to get it out there. It may just take a while longer than I expected.
Speaking of Novel stuff, I have finally located an editor, whom I wish to hire (when I finally get the entire manuscript written!) and I’ve also found a cover artist/illustrator as well! So, I'm very pleased.
Marlee. Ah, my little boy hasn’t been well - and as a result, he’s broke my bank, lol. Long story short, he has ‘Struvite Crystals’. Well, just one actually. He’s had x-rays, his bladder flushed and is on special food to dissolve the crystal. He’s a lot better now, back to himself, and soon he should come off the food - which is going to please my wallet, because the food is so damn expensive! I’m currently fighting with his Insurance Company, as they have refused the claim. Assholes! They are saying that he’s had it before, and so that’s why they won’t pay up. But he hasn’t. Yes, he’s had a water infection before, BUT not Crystals, which was what he was diagnosed with. I’ll continue to fight it for a while, and see what happens. I may take them to the Ombudsmen.
Jewellery. I’m doing VERY well with my Necklaces and Bracelets on eBay. Okay, so I’m not a millionaire yet, lol. But last week I sold five pieces in one day! I was so pleased, haha. I guess I’m not really in it to make money, that’s never going to happen. It’s more of a hobby - something to do. And I’m glad people like my stuff; it’s nice to know that somewhere, someone is wearing something I’ve made. Those who would like to see them; you can see everything I’ve made on my FaceBook page.
