I should be studying [and doing a million other things as well] but I was looking through my notes and came upon the notes I had on Henry Darger.

I managed to find a site dedicated to Outsider Art. It is a really good site. This stuff is so much better than any Magritte or Courbet or Morisot or Dali. So much respect for people who work in this ( Read more... )

*explores* Wow this is quite interesting. I'm meant to be doing my assessment too but... well this is way more amusing.

BTW - posted cd today! Hurrah for my organisation skillz! Which don't really show themselves that often ;)

I got it!

I loved it. I'm listening to it right now.

This man is super interesting. I swear. I've always been intrigued by outsider musicians but the artists are just as interesting. Read this:

Trust me...I know how you'll feel after that. I would love to meet John MacGregor. Oh hey, omg, I saw my tutor at today's slide test...arghhh, I wanted to kiss him! He's so OMG OMG OMG.

Awesome! I'm glad I didn't go for express since clearly there was no need ;p

"The Wizard of Oz as seen by a pedophile on a bad acid trip" - Ahahaha. That article had a good way of putting things. I've never really read anything before on outsider artists! That was just crazy. I went and looked up their artwork in google too. Evene crazier.

Oh wow yes even if it wasn't in person. I want to go to one of his lectures dammit.

I miss my piano tutor :"( we had a special thing going too.
