Math for Design Majors?
what a freaking ridiculous class. i geuss i should start with a description of my teacher...
he looks like a mole. he has a round shape to him. he lacks a defined neck. he wears t-shirts and gym shorts with sneakers. he has shoulder length curly brown hair and desperately needs to shave more often. today he wore sunglasses during class and a tye dye shirt. he gave us his aol email and screen name which is VAMPYR something or other.
next lets describe his style of teaching, keeping in mind that this is a math course...
his way of writing notes on the board are FULL PARAGRAPHS and COMPLETE SENTENCES in CURSIVE. and he writes down the EXACT SAME thing WORD for WORd of what he is saying out loud.
finally, the part that angers me the most...the material we are learning...
today we went over WHOLE NUMBERS and ROUNDING NUMBERS.
i take much offense to this. sure, we are artists but that does not make us incompetent. this is an insult to my intelligence. i worked my ass off in precalc last year to come to this?? what a fucking waste of time. i could be taking a more challenging class that might actually be beneficial to me as far as learning. just because of the sheer ridiculousness of this course i probably wont even attend any of the classes. i really should go to all of my classes but in this situation i really just cannot see myself bothering to wake up for that shit.
