the aberdeen bestiary
my homework is to research the aberdeen Bestiary, which is a really old manuscript made by monks 900 years back....... it was handwritten in ink on animal flesh (im pretty sure) but its like an encyclopedia of animals...... but its amazing...
like, it talks of bulls that expell burning shite at predators when feeling anxious.... (there are pictures too!!)
there are also two sexed rigid spined hyenas that live in toumbs devour human corpses
bevers biting off their own testicles to escape danger (??!!!)
and ferrets giving birth through their ears
this is ace, cant wait to see the real thing!!!
