Free concerts
I love being able to go to the free lunchtime concerts at the Four Seasons Centre. This week is especially cool. Tomorrow is a student recital of art songs of Australia and New Zealand, about which I am completely ignorant and then on Wednesday there is a programme of vocal music by John Adams introduced by the man himself.
Bonus shout out to New Yorkers reading this; Canadian Opera is in town to present Stravinsky's The Nightingale and Other Tales at the Brooklyn Academy of Music. This sold out in Toronto and they had to put extra performances on. It's a Robert Lepage production featuring aquatic acrobats.
