It's really very odd. Australian rugby commentators are absolutely appalling; loud, one sided and ignorant. They make Brian Moore look good. On the other hand the cricket commentary team on Fox Sports is exemplary; thoughtful, fair and knowledgeable. Richie Benaud in particular is a real gem and probably the best cricket analyst since John Arlott. I'm thoroughly enjoying their coverage of the rather fascinating Brisbane test.
