Rugby season is pretty much done. I did a couple of games at the beginning of the month but I think all that's left now is the cup final and I don't think they are going to ask me to referee that! So, now comes the challenge of staying active and fit during the cold months. So far biking has been the activity of choice as I haven'y quite shaken off the plantar fasciitis that has been dogging me all summer. That;s been going pretty well. I did 450km in the month of October including about 60km today. And today revealed where the challenge is going to come. It was around 5C this morning. I rode out to Port Credit and back and despite stopping for a coffee and a thaw out in Port Credit, my feet were like blocks of ice when I got home. To cap things off, when I went out again to do some shopping it snowed. I need to work out a warm foot solution.
