Fire Drills and the 1st week of school.....
Fire drills suck, and that is all I have to say.
This week at school was pretty ok, although Friday I cried in front of a whole bunch of my students because of the way they acted and a teacher dude. There was a fire drill and it was kinda crazy.
The rest of the week was going greatly, although I have to be on the look out for those students who want to take advantage of me because I'm a first year. I've made some good teacher friends and the school is awesome. I teach four classes of Spanish and everything is great so far-except for the fire drill.
My car was broke-the transmission stopped on labor day. I just got it fixed yesterday and still owe monies. Transmissions are expensive man. So all this week I've been driving Alfredo's truck thing-it's scary.
I called all my parents today to introduce me and everyone was mostly nice, although after 80 phone calls/messages I don't want to talk ever again.
A while ago-when Aoi came to visit-I bought some family tree software that said I had a year free of ancestry.com and now they won't give it to me so my Aunt Becky is calling them Monday because I'll forget.
I have to finish my seating charts, plans for next week, and who knows what else before Monday. My brain hurts.
I have also been trying to look for an apartment. Hopefully I'll have some luck next week.
