On His Own
Clay Peshterianu is single for the first time in 20 simdays and he's now living the life of a bachelor. He's moved into the City Center Lofts and gotten a nice job with the SCIA. Let's check in on him and see how he did in the second half of week 5.
Clay Peshterianu is a chick magnet! He's a family sim with a romance secondary, but that romance aspiration really came out to play once he became a single man.
He had fun with a couple of girls, but he didn't feel strongly about any of them. Keri Dingle continues to be his top choice, but seeing as how she's happily married Clay knows there is no chance there.
Candice Brown is his second choice. They have a 3 bolt relationship together, but he doesn't ever roll any wants for her. For the rest of his week 5 Clay was rolling romance aspiration wants like "make out with 3 sims" or "woohoo in public"; romance wants not related to any specific sim. So I'm guessing he is enjoying being single again and that he just isn't ready for another serious relationship.
As you already know, Clay also has a little fling going with Penelope Lightfoot. He went as her date to her brother's wedding and she lives in an apartment right upstairs from Clay, so they see a lot of each other. He also works pretty closely with her brother, Sawyer, as you will see shortly.
Clay is still a busy father, too. He has joint custody of Sam (his son with Celia Gates), and often has him staying over on the weekends. Clay has made it clear to Sam that he's enjoying being single and meeting new people. That's cool with Sam because he really just enjoys coming over to stay with his dad. It almost feels like he's all grown up and living with a roommate rather than a parent. Clay lets him do pretty much whatever he wants, and they get along really well. Sam also likes to hang out in the playground of Clay's apartment building so he can keep an eye out for girls that might happen to live there. Sam is a tad bit girl crazy...like father, like son!
As I said: like father, like son!
Clay found a good job in the Intelligence career track. He was promoted a few times (and demoted once, darn chance card!), and is currently a Crime Scene Investigator. He spends most of his days out at crime scenes with the local police force (including Sawyer Lightfoot who is currently a Patrol Officer in the Law Enforcement track). After getting all of the information that he can from the crime scene, he heads back to his office in the Little Hollywick Police Department to help with the investigation. He really enjoys working closely with police officers to catch criminals and keep the town safe!
Even though he has an exciting job, lots of beautiful lady friends, and weekends with his son, Clay still spends a lot of time in his apartment all alone. When he lets himself think about the direction that his life has taken, he can't help but feel a little sad that he has lost the family that he loved so much. He didn't expect to be a middle aged man in a tiny apartment eating TV dinners all alone.

Gameplay Notes:
--So poor Clay finished out week 5 all by himself. I really thought he would find his true love and settle down again. When he left Celia's house, he had all sorts of marriage wants and baby wants. But once he was on his own, those wants were replaced by romance wants. He's not rolling any wants for any single girl, so I'm thinking he just needs some time before jumping into another serious relationship. Poor, poor Clay!
