Not wanting to start a political uproar or anything, but...
I hung out with some people tonight as a goodbye thingie for me since i'm MOVING tomorrow (eeek!). We we're having a good ol' time until one guy said that he actually liked Bush, who i said was the largest dumbass on the planet. Then others around me started saying, "oh yeah, did you hear that they annulled all those marriages in San Fransisco? thats cool." so i didnt have a major freak out, since i realized i was the only sane one in the bunch, but i did say to them: how the fuck does other people getting married affect you? not one bit!! why do you care who gets married? people should be able to marry whoever the hell they want! and they didnt have a good answer to this, just said, "oh i dont care if they date, i just dont want them to ruin the sanctity of marriage" and when i said that they couldnt bring church into it since America is supposed to have separation of church and state, they didnt have anything to say. HA! then, one of the guys proceeded to use the N-word multiple times, some in reference to my dog, who is LIGHT BROWN!!! by the way, i'm in ARKANSAS!!! thank god i'm moving tomorrow.
